Vegan Mozzarella Cheeze


  • 80g Plain Cashews
  • 2tbsp Tapioca Flour
  • 2tbsp Nutritional Yeast
  • 2tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2tsp Garlic Powder
  • 150ml Water
  • 🧂Salt & Pepper


  1. Put the cashews in a pan and cover with water. Boil for 15 mins. Then drain.
  2. Add the cashews and all remaining ingredients to a blender and blend until completely smooth, typically about 2 whole minutes. Do not use a food processor as this won’t produce the same effect.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a pan on medium heat and stir continuously. It will begin to thicken. If you’re looking to use right away as a spread remove from the heat when it becomes gooey.
  4. Let the cheeze cool and refrigerate.
