Ingredients
- 80g Plain Cashews
- 2tbsp Tapioca Flour
- 2tbsp Nutritional Yeast
- 2tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2tsp Garlic Powder
- 150ml Water
- 🧂Salt & Pepper
Method
- Put the cashews in a pan and cover with water. Boil for 15 mins. Then drain.
- Add the cashews and all remaining ingredients to a blender and blend until completely smooth, typically about 2 whole minutes. Do not use a food processor as this won’t produce the same effect.
- Transfer the mixture to a pan on medium heat and stir continuously. It will begin to thicken. If you’re looking to use right away as a spread remove from the heat when it becomes gooey.
- Let the cheeze cool and refrigerate.
